Commentary: Smoking A Lot Of Wee; Dreaming Strange

Dreams Differ From Realistic Vision For Ghana

The ever-sinking opposition New Patriotic Party’s (NPP’s) flagbearer, Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo has succeeded once again putting himself in the line of fire.
Ever since he was elected Flagbearer of the NPP, Nana Akufo-Addo has continued to soil his pants to the extent that the stench around him now becomes unbearable.
Ever since he became Flagbearer of the NPP, it has been loose talk after loose talk.
If Nana is not talking about the “bottoms’’ of dead women here; then he would be beating his “all die be die” war drums and preaching his tribal “yen akanfuo” sermon there.
Behaving as if Ghana is his property and so must be President “at all cost”; Nana Akufo-Addo continues to open his mouth too wide; fouling the airwaves with infantile and outright senseless statements, all over the place.
What does Akufo-Addo mean when he says President Mills is not dreaming big?
Just because President Mills is calculated and measured in his speech; shouldn’t mean that he is not dreaming big?
If President Mills did not have a vision for Ghana, would he be able to secure whopping $3 billion from China to put in place Oil and Gas infrastructure?
If President Mills was not having a vision for Ghana, would he use the GETFund to sponsor over 100 Ghanaians to study oil and gas management abroad, so they can return to manage the oil booming industry on behalf of Ghana?
If President Mills was not thinking big, would he look for money to complete the ‘gang of four’ roads?
If President Mills was not thinking big, and did not have a vision, would he have moved Ghana’s economy from the grave in which Kufuor left it, and give it life?
If President Mills did not have a vision for Ghana, would he be comprehensively chasing the cocaine barons out of Ghana?
When Nana Akufo-Addo talks about dreaming big; what exactly is he talking about?
When you talk about the “bottoms” of dead women; are you a big-thinker?
When you surround yourself with drug barons and junkies are you a big-thinker?
When you beat “all die be die”, “yen akanfuo” and “we must win power at all cost” war drums, are you a big-thinker?
When you wake up with a heavy cloud of wee smoke hanging over your head, are you a big-thinker?
When diplomatic passports leave your office vault and end up in the hands of drug barons, are you a big-thinker?
When you want to pass laws that will allow Ghanaians who were convicted abroad for drug trafficking to enable them return home, ‘to serve their time’, are you a big-thinker?
Honestly, we are convinced that Nana Akufo-Addo must have smoked a lot of wee and had a heavy cloud of wee smoke hanging up there, when he spoke to the KNUST TESCON; telling them that he has big dreams for Ghana.
If Akufo-Addo cares to know; the kind of dreams that he dreams after bouts of wee-smoking as well as burying his head in-between women-thighs, are not the type of dreams that build nations.
How on earth can Akufo-Addo convince us that he is dreaming properly when he says that he will move Ghana from middle income status to first world status within four years?
Which country on this earth was built in four years?
Did it not take decades for ‘The Asian Tigers’ to develop?
The, United States; Britain; France; and co, did it take four years for them to develop?
So if Akufo-Addo finishes smoking a lot of wee and opens his mouth to say he dreams big, just because he says he would transform Ghana into a first world economy in four years, it is pretty obvious that his dream is a foolish and unrealistic dream.
If Akufo-Addo thinks that his wee-induced statements will make discerning Ghanaians vote for him, then he must be joking.
Ghanaians are looking for a serious leader who has serious concretised programmes to build a Better Ghana.
Ghanaians are not looking for a leader who will smoke a lot of wee and dream strange dreams that cannot move the nation forward.
Ghanaians are not looking for a leader who will smoke a lot of wee and dream stupid dreams that will be full of unachievable targets.
It is quite obvious that Nana Akufo-Addo has no message for the people of Ghana, and so, therefore, is just opening his mouth and talking “byheartically”.
Ghanaians are more discerning than Akufo-Addo is crediting them with, and it would take more than his wee-induced foolish dreams to convince them to vote for him.
Indeed, Akufo-Addo has never had intelligent brain-cells, one reason why he was sacked from Oxford University, and he ended up with a very bad 3rd Class, when he came back to Ghana to study Economics at Legon.
Nana Addo, therefore, should shut up and spare us his nonsense; we are damn tired of all the foolishness that he is exhibiting!
And if Akufo-Addo thinks that he could be allowed to steal the mandate of the people “at all cost”; he should dare try anything stupid; and he will regret the day he started smoking wee and sniffing cocaine!!!
