The Ghana Civil Service has commended Kwasi Asante, a staff member of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, for his outstanding performance in the public sector.

According to the Civil Service, Asante's leadership at the ministry over the years has been marked by commitment and positive impact.

Asante was commended following an evaluation of Heads of Departments and Directors/Analogous Grades Officers, where he was graded as 'excellent.'

This commendation was contained in a letter dated July 14, 2025, signed by the Head of the Civil Service, Dr Evans Aggrey-Darkoh, and sighted by GhanaWeb.

"Your performance has been rated "Excellent," a testament to your outstanding leadership, unwavering dedication and the impactful results you have delivered at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.

"This remarkable achievement highlights your ability to exceed performance targets and drive significant improvements in service delivery and operational efficiency. The Ghana Civil Service commends you on this laudable accomplishment," portions of the letter read.

Dr Aggrey-Darkoh, highlighting the work done by Asante, said his commitment and dedication have raised the benchmark in the Civil Service for others to emulate.

"I trust that you will not only sustain but continue to build on this high level of performance in the years ahead. Your exemplary work has set a benchmark within the Civil Service, and I applaud your commitment to excellence."

The letter added, "As we continue to strengthen our performance management culture, your role remains crucial. I encourage you to maintain a strong focus on your deliverables to ensure the timely execution of tasks and the enhancement of service delivery standards within your institution."
