The chairman of the Christian Council, Dr Lt Col Bliss Divine Agbeko (RTD), on Sunday, August 10, 2025, signed the book of condolence at the headquarters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The signing of the book conveyed his sympathy and commiseration message to the party as it navigates through the painful moment of grieving and mourning.
Dr Agbeko, who is also the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana, was received at the office by Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, deputy communications officer of the party, Godwin Ako Gunn and the director of welfare, Vida Addae.
Dr Agbeko used his visit to pray for the nation, the president, the leadership of the party and the families of the deceased.
Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations, Elvis Afriyie, expressed his heartfelt appreciation for Dr Agbeko's visit and his prayers for the party, the bereaved family and the nation as a whole.
The NDC lost five of its prominent members in a fatal helicopter crash on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
