Christian Atsu’s provides assist as Newcastle shock Tottenham

Ghana international Christian Atsu returned from injury to provide an assist as Newcastle United beat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 at home.

Atsu joined the fray as early as the 17th minute for Allan Saint Maximin who got injured to set up Joelinton to score at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

That was the Magpies first Premier League win in three matches.

Atsu will look to play more games after struggling with injuries last term
