Chibsah anticipates tough clash against Napoli

Frosinone will face one of their biggest tests of the 2018/19 Serie A season when they play second-placed Napoli in week 15 of the campaign away from home. Both sides have endured contrasting fortunes so far.

While Napoli needs a win to close in on league leaders Juventus at the top of the table, the Canaries on the other hand will hope the good form that has seen them lose just one in their last five games will come to bear, and increase their survival chances when they travel to the city of Naples for the tie.

Frosinone star man Raman Chibsah has described this weekend’s encounter with the two times Serie A champions as very crucial for his side.
“It is a very tough but important game for us. Napoli has vastly improved over the years, which has made picking any sort of point against them all the more vital. We just hope that all the work that we have put in training this week in preparation for the game bears fruits on the field.” He told classfmonline.com.

Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti may want to rest a few key players for Saturday’s game, with one eye on the all-important Champions League meeting with Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday. But Frosinone’s midfield dynamo believes ‘The Blues’ or Gli Azzurri as they are known have more than enough to cope.

“No one would believe that resting a few players would significantly affect the fortunes of a side as good as Napoli. They have quality in-depth and the experience to handle every situation that comes their way. However, I believe we should focus on ourselves with belief and a positive attitude. The game will start at 0-0 which implies that each side has got an opportunity to win.”

Frosinone needs all three points to boost their survival chances and to close in on Empoli at 17th place and would heavily rely on their Ghanaian import Raman Chibsah to get a result.
The game kicks off at 14:00 GMT.
