Chaos as bees swoop down on students on KNUST campus - Report

A swarm of bees has reportedly taken over a section of the KNUST campus, attacking students around the Casely Hayford Block.

According to a report shared on social media by Voice of KNUST Live, a portal affiliated with the university, on March 31, 2026, the bees have been aggressively attacking students.

Students have therefore been advised to avoid the affected area.

In a video accompanying the report, several students are seen running across campus in an attempt to escape the swarm.

β€œSwarm of bees takes over a section of the KNUST campus, as the situation worsens with reports of multiple attacks and stings,” the social media post stated on March 31, 2026.

Some students in the video are also seen making gestures as though attempting to fend off or retaliate against the alleged bee attacks while moving through the area.

Recently, there have been a number of reported bee attacks across the country.
