National Health Insurance Card bearing members are being turned down by Techiman Holy Family Hospital as a results of what the Authority says delay of payment of their claims.
Hundreds of patients are stranded with no hope of accessing the facility since they did not anticipate such cash and carry system at the moment
Mr Banabas Yeboah, the Techiman Diocesan Health Director told Classic news that, their decision to redraw their services is NHIA has failed to pay for their claims for the past six month.
According to Mr Yeboah, the Hospital has run out of drugs due to the indebtedness the authority own them so they no option to demand payment before taking care of patients.
