Campaign To Attract Tourism And Investment To Nhyiaeso Constituency

FORMER CANDIDATE KICKS OFF CAMPAIGN TO ATTRACT TOURISM AND INVESTMENT AT NHYIAESO CONSTITUENCY, AS HE CALLS FOR RENAMING CONSTITUENCY, ? KWAME MAYOR?S TERRITORY ?.

Declaring that he does not have to wait to become elected before he helps his Constituency, the 2004 CPP Parliamentary Candidate for Nhyiaeso, ?Osagyefo? Kwame Appiah Boateng, aka ?Kwame Mayor? has kicked off a campaign to attract tourism and investment at the Constituency and has appealed to the Chiefs, Elders and residents of the area to rename Nhyiaeso Constituency , ? Kwame Mayor?s Territory ? as a ?tantalizing strategy? to generate curiosity and attract tourism.

The ?Made in America? Politician, ?Osagyefo? Kwame Appiah Boateng, aka ?Mayor?, who made the proposal said since he ran for Member of Parliament at Nhyiaeso Constituency in the 2004 elections against Minister of Roads, Dr. Richard Anane, several people around the World, including Americans have read about him and about the Constituency especially on such internet as Ghanaweb.Com, thus making Nhyiaeso Constituency one of the most popular Constituencies in Ghana and a familiar name in the international community.

Boateng, who has not hidden his democratic ambition to become a [uniting] President of Ghana someday, and establish an African version of an ?American style of Democracy? whereby Freedom can flow in Ghana like a ?Mighty Ocean?, said several people have become curious about Nhyiaeso Constituency not only because it is a developed and attractive area, but it is also the residential area of Ghana?s International Politician, ?Kwame Mayor?, whose ?Muhammed Ali?s mouth? and ?bee stinging political punches? have created unusual interest among potential tourists, especially, tourists from the United States of America.

The former candidate for Mayor of Los Angeles who made history in 1993 by becoming the first Ghanaian born or indigenous African to [symbolically] run for a higher public office in the history of America, asked Ghanaians, other Africans and people in the international community to invest at Nhyiaeso Constituency and appealed to foreign investors to make Ghanaians, partners in such investments.

The CPP activist, who has officially applied for the position of Kumasi ?Mayor? or Metropolitan Chief Executive based on his [merit] and is yet to receive a reply to his application, appealed to the Mayors of London, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Hamburg, etc, to use their positions to pursuade their City officials and potential investors for joint ventureship in Ghana and establish ?Electric Powered Trains?, ?Disney-Safari?, and Entertainment Centers such as a ?Model Universal Studio? or a ?Model Hollywood?, in the proposed ?Kwame Mayor?s Territory? / Nhyiaeso Constituency and other parts of the Country.

Boateng warned that ideas cannot be copied or imitated without permission.
