Officials of the Metro Mass Transit Company have been at pains to explain that, just as they charge companies to use their buses as “mobile billboards” the ruling party has paid to have the buses painted in its colours. But very few people are convinced. They are asking for the Metro Mass Transit Company to open its books and prove that the government has indeed paid for its advertising. Better still, they want to see opposition advertisements on some mass transit buses as well. Until then, the campaign goes on unabated, and flags are flying high all the way from the airport to the presidential castle |
