COP Kofi Boakye to speak on security at the Ghana Bar conference

The Director-General of Police in charge of Research and Planning, COP Nathan Kofi Boakye will deliver a keynote lecture at the annual Ghana Bar Conference being held in Takoradi, the Western Regional Capital.

The seasoned police chief speaks on the topic “enhancing security through the rule of law; prospects and challenges” on Tuesday, September 10, 2019.

COP Kofi Boakye who himself is the member of the Ghana Bar Association has over the years distinguished himself in policing in the country earning the respect of both chiefs and residents wherever duty calls.

The 2019/2020 Annual General Conference of the Ghana Bar Association started yesterday Sunday, September 8, 2019, and will end on Friday, September 13, 2019

Takoradi the Western Regional capital is playing host to this year’s event with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who is the Guest of Honour expected to give the keynote address.

Thousands of lawyers across the country are expected to attend the event which also offers the association the opportunity to do stock-taking of its events in previous years.
