CK Akunnor runs to Archbishop for deliverance

Former Black Stars skipper, Charles Kobla Akunnor, has received special prayers of deliverance at the Action Chapel when he called on the "Apostle of Strategic Prayer," Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, Ghanasportsonline.com can confirm.

The former Accra Hearts of Oak and Eleven Wise coach visited the church and asked to be fortified after he was embroiled in allegations of infidelity and accusations of bedding wives of several colleague footballers.

Earlier this month, wife of assistant Ghana coach Maxwell Konadu, Linda, made a shocking revelation of an attempt by Akunnor, an ex Wolfsburg skipper, to have sex with her.

According to Linda Konadu, her husband does not see eye-to-eye with his ex-international colleague due to his unsuccessful attempt to have her in his bed even at the time she was married.

Linda Konadu is on tape to have said “He [Akunnor] used to have a drum he plays like the PWD drum and when he saw me, he noted that, ‘I can f*** this woman.

“But I told him that I am not the type of married women with footballers who have sex with their colleague footballers.

“It [is] for this reason Maxwell [Konadu] is not free with him,” she disclosed. Linda has remained married to the assistant Black Stars trainer well over a decade in a marriage that is blessed with children.

The allegations followed rumours of similar asseveration of several cases of hanky-panky conducts linked to the former Black Stars skipper.

Ghanasportsonline.com has gathered that, Akunnor called on Bishop Duncan Williams and asked to be prayed for in order to be born again.
