CK Akonnor gives update on Sogne Yacouba

Asante Kotoko head coach, CK Akonnor has revealed that Sogne Yacouba trained alone at Adako Jaachie after joining his teammates from Burkina Faso.

The inform striker went to his home country for short holidays and returned last Friday.

Akonnor pointed out that the Burkinabe import trained alone and is in line to play part in their CAF Confederation Cup opener.

“He trained personally today, after getting tested in the hospital. Probably, he could be fully fit next week as we tackle the CAF Confederation Cup” CK Akonnor told Light FM.

Kotoko will play the winners of the Cameroonian FA Cup winners in the CAF Confederations Cup with the first leg slated for Kumasi.
