CALL FOR NEW GNP ELECTED LEADERSHIP

Ghana National Party is the new certified political party that was jointly initiated between Diaspora and resident Ghanaians, with full certification in February 2007. The party has a vision to bestow basic fundamental empowerment to the people through education in self-awareness of their civil rights, civic duties, and to modernize the nation through financial and personal discipline, accountability, elimination of corruption, technological innovation, and joint venture partnerships between Diaspora and resident Ghanaians. The founders believe this will lead to better competitive business culture and the creation of high paying jobs in Ghana. Throughout the 138 districts and all constituencies, GNP has mapped out profiles of the non-performing members of parliament who do not care for the interests and needs of the people and who need to be replaced.

In order for the party to sustain its objectives to restore dignity in the art of leadership as a service to the communities and the people, we are opening the doors for all those who share similar sentiments to participate in our national executive elections to be supervised by the Electoral Commissioner. Applicants must have love for country, abhorrence of tribalism, desire to serve their constituencies as Party Executive Officials, or later serve their communities as Town, District or Parliamentary candidates on competitive electoral party platform. The national Executive positions are: National Chairman, 1st & 2nd National Vice Chairmen, General Secretary, Deputy General Secretary, Director of Operations, Director of Research and strategy, Director of Communications & Media Relations, Director of Foreign relations, National Organizer, Director of Finance, National Youth Organizer, National Women’s Organizer

The party requires men and women of utmost integrity and good character, a record of service to the community, good leadership skills, some basic minimal educational competence and some business or professional experience. They must be willing to sign and abide by the GNP Code of Ethics and abide by all Public Accountability Laws.
