CAF CC: Fosa Juniors coach unsure of qualification over Aduana

Head Coach of Fosa Juniors, opponent of Aduana Stars in the play-off of the CAF Confederation Cup, Bob Kootwijk says he’s unsure if his side can eliminate the Ghanaian champions from the competition.

He said his side is a young side who have just started their African football adventure but they will try to get the best out of the Aduana Stars encounter.

“I’m not sure we can qualify. We will try our best and we will look forward to this. I don’t know if it’s the same [playing in Ghana from countries we’ve played]. We will be playing our own game” the coach told Kumasi based Oyerepa FM in an interview.

He added that, he has little knowledge of Aduana Stars, which isn’t a problem since he’s busily doing everything possible to gather information on them.

“I’m busy doing that and by the time we play them, we will know them more. We don’t have much experience but I don’t think it’s a problem. We’ve an intelligent team and we look forward to face teams in Africa” he said.

“I [will] search for information and look at how they play. We [will] play our own game and we will see what will happen. We are now looking for logistics to come to Ghana” coach Kootwijk ended.
