Busia's family appeals to Rawlings for his property

The head of the Busia family in Wenchi in the Brong Ahafo Region, Nana Kusi Appiah I (former chief of the town) has made an appeal to fulfil his promise made before the 1992 elections to release the confiscated assets of the late Prime Minister Dr K. A. Busia to his family.

Busia's confiscated building at Wenchi is currently occupied by the police and according to Nana Kusi Appiah, the property has not been little maintained since it was ceased in the coup of 1972.
