Commercial drivers in Numereso, a farming community in the Ashanti Region, have lamented the devastating impact of poor roads on their lives.
According to them, years of navigating through bumpy roads have taken a toll on their health, affecting their performance in bed.
"The deplorable state of roads linking three communities is affecting our sex lives and contributing to marriage break-ups," said one driver.
"Working on these roads has given us waist problems, affecting our sexual drive."
The drivers, in an interview with OTEC News on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, appealed to the government to repair the roads, stimulate economic growth, and enhance their quality of life.
"Business is suffering due to the bad roads. We need help," another driver said.
Meanwhile, Ing Benjamin Oppong, also known as Benito, a private individual, is pitching in to help reshape the road.
"Let's support the government in reviving our struggling community," he urged.
