Building cathedrals is biblical and rewarding - Asutifi North MP

'Though the nation still have infrastructural deficit, building the national cathedral for the lord is biblical and rewarding'. Is also have a positive spiritual implications on the country now and the next generation to come, Asutifi North Member of Parliament, Benhazin Joseph Dahah has stated.

He added that though there are many detractors and anti- cathedral campaigners in and outside the county seeking the total halt of the religious monument, the government and the people of the republic are poised to building it for God and country.

The Asutifi north member of Parliament made this comments , at kenyasi in the Asutifi north district of the Ahafo region of Ghana, during the annual camp meeting of the kenyasi circuit in the Goaso diocese of the Methodist church Ghana.

He said the central government through the ministry of roads and highways, has approved the construction of the much awaited kenyasi- Hwediem road, which is in deplorable conditions for the past yen years. " less than a month time, contractors will be on site to start work " he added.

Mr Dahah also paid a glowing tribute to the president of the republic, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo and the NPP government through the. ministry of reorganization and regional integration for the creation of the Ahafo region, saying " this is a window openings for development and local governance to the door steps.

Preaching the sermon under the theme " focusing on Christ Jesus Alone ( Colossians 3;1), the superintendent minister of the kenyasi circuit of the Goaso diocese, very Reverend Emmanuel Kofi Antwi, charge all followers of Jesus Christ to eschew all forms of ungodliness in all spheres of life. "If you are in the church and still practice evil , then who are you following? " he asked.

The ministers and the general congregation prayed for the president of the republic and those in government, and the Nation in general.
