Boy 7, dies after TV set falls on his head

Osei Asamoah, a 7 year old pupil of Nsuaem Methodist Primary school at Nsuaem No2 in the Bosome Freho District of the Ashanti Region died after Television set fell from a table and crashed him.

The deceased, is said to have screamed for help for a long time when the TV set fell on him at dawn.

An eyewitness Yaw James narrating the unfortunate incident to Abusua Fm’s Osei Kwadwo said the deceased was asleep in his father’s room when the huge TV set accidentally fell and knocked him down unconsciously.

The boy reportedly died on his way to Konongo Government hospital for treatment.

His body has been deposited at Konongo hospital morgue.

Meanwhile the Konongo Divisional Police have commenced investigation into the matter.
