Both NDC and NPP have failed Ghanaians

Breman Asikuma (C/R) Jan. 13 GNA-The Deputy General Secretary for Finance and Administration of the Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), Mr. John Emika has appealed to members and supporters of the party not to use provocative and abusive language against their opponents. He said they should rather tolerate the views of members of other parties and also work in line with the party's principles to help build a strong democratic state.

Mr. Emika was addressing members of the Breman Asikuma branch of the party at a meeting at Breman Asikuma.

Among those present were Ms. Gifty Annah Mensah, Central Region Women Organiser and Nana Nelson Aneafi, an executive member of the Central Regional branch of the party.

Mr. Emika said the party has put in place strategies and policies to ensure that its grass root structures function properly because they formed the bedrock of the party.

He said both the National Democratic Party and New Patriotic Party have failed Ghanaians after giving them the mandate to rule the nation and therefore urged Ghanaians to vote the DFP into power during the 2008 general elections.

Mr. Emika, in this regard urged members of the party to work harder and propagate the aims and objectives and good intention of the party to the public to enable more people join the party. He said the DFP, "the Saviour of the people would respect the right of every citizen and also eliminate all forms of intimidations, harassment, violence, political vendetta in the society". Mr. Emika cautioned members and supporters to remain united and contribute their quota towards the strong building of the party and its victory in the 2008.
