National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams is urging Ghanaians to decide with the urgency it deserves to end the administration of President Akufo-Addo in the next general elections in 2020.

According to him the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government led by President Akufo-Addo is ruling with lies and also giving excuses, as well as blaming others for his failure as a leader.

Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' Morning Show, Kofi Adams bemoaned Ghana is in the reverse gear as nothing seems to work anymore in the area of education, infrastructure and the economy.

“From the beginning President Akufo-Addo sang the mantra ‘I’m unaware’; we have ‘unaware government’ and ‘clearing agent’ government, and now we have a ‘misled’ government, so what at all can this government do right in this country with 110 ministers?” he quizzed.

He again asserted that “truth has lost its value in this country due to the government we have today."

Kofi Adams was responding to President Akufo-Addo's action regarding the AMERI deal after speculations that he was 'misled' by the Energy Minister to agree to the revised AMERI deal.

However, AMERI has come out to deny entering into any new agreement with the government of Ghana.

Meanwhile, President Akufo-Addo in a statement has directed the Energy Minister, Mr. Boakye Agyarko to hand over his position to the Lands and Natural Resources Minister, John Peter Amewu.

Kofi Adams wondered how President Akufo-Addo with 110 ‘choristers’ as ministers surrounding him could be 'misled'.

“What is left again and what should Ghanaians expect again from this government before they can take a decision to end this government?

“It is really clear that we are faced with a government which doesn’t know what it’s doing for the country,” Kofi Adams said.
