Book Launch Dedicated To Nana Akufo Addo

Lawyer Mary Ohenewaa Afful Launches Her Book In Dedication To Nana Akufo Addo
A seasoned female Barrister-At-Law and Solicitor of the Superior Court of Judicature, Mary Ohenewaa Afful, has unveiled her book “The Fundamental Human Rights And Freedoms”, the book which was dedicated to the NPP Presidential Candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was launched at Alisa Hotel on the 7th of September 2012.

In the lawyers annotations as to why she chose to dedicate her book to Nana Addo? These were her comments: “In my quest to trace the efforts of people who had contributed enormously to the cause and advocacy for fundamental human rights and freedoms in Ghana, one name stood tall among the others, and that name was no other person than Nana Akufo Addo. The man had laid down his life for this country since the 1970’s up to date! I am a feminist advocate who believes women and children are the ones who suffer most when the basic fundamental human rights are not adhered to in a country, and for Nana Akufo Addo to have fought for the welfare of women and children all these while, Ghanaian women and the youth must vote for such a noble man come December 7th, 2012 as he promises to give free maternal health care and education!
The program which was chaired by Lawyer Kwaku .Y. Painstil of (Paintsil, Painstil & Co., Goshen Chambers, Osu), had in attendance a series of Men of God who prayed for Lawyer Afful and the NPP Presidential Candidate. The book, “Fundamental Human Rights And Freedoms” had its first copy bought at an enviable price of ¢10,000 new Ghana cedis by the chairman for the occasion. Copies were bought by Mrs. Rebecca Akufo Addo, Dr. Amoako Tuffour, Vida Acheampong (aspiring parliamentary candidate for Nkawkaw), and many other dignitaries who attended the program.
Mr. Francis Asenso Boakye (Personal Assistant to Nana Addo) who represented the presidential candidate said, Nana Addo was touched by such a very nice gesticulation and he appreciates the time and effort Lawyer Mary Afful had spent in putting such a fastidious piece of work together and he would make sure the book would be endorsed on a campaign platform soon.
