Bomiri (Brong Ahafo), 24 Oct. The people of Bomiri in the Nkoranza district have drawn-up a three-year development programme estimated at 65 million cedis. It would involve the construction of a drainage system and an electrification project to enhance the economic and social activities of the people. Mr Abiam Danso, a member of the area's unit committee, told the GNA at Bomiri that the people are paying special contributions of 10,000 cedis a man and 5,000 cedis a woman towards the programme. According to him, non-resident citizens are paying 15,000 cedis a man and 10,000 cedis a woman. Fund raising activities would be organised to support the programme.
