Bolga All Stars trainer, Baba Musah Mallam, has lauded the club’s owner Abdulai Alhassan’s impact in their 3-3 draw game against Hearts of Oak on Wednesday at the Tamale Utrecht Park.

Alhassan who doubles as the Northern Regional Football Association and serves on the Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association made his history as he became the first club owner to feature in the domestic top-flight.

Alhassan was introduced in the game on 65 minute and he was the orchestrated in his side’s third goal.

“He is still young even though he is into administration i still think that he has some football in him we can benefit because in our Ghanaian league that is what the media has been complaining about,” he said.

“We don’t have that experience players in the league, when somebody wins the best player of the season, the next season, he will be out of the country. We want people who have played in the game, he has played outside and he is back, definitely it will be our wish to see more of these players who have played outside to be playing in the league.

“So it is good that he has found himself back in the team and i will be expecting more from him in the second round.”
