Bole District: Hot rush for Brazilian grown mango that cure sicknesses

The Bole District Chief Farmer Alhaji Abdulai Allahkabo has grown a mango variety called “Pama” on his farm at Bole and there is a rush for the mango he is currently harvesting with people from all walks of life who heard of the mango moving to Bole to buy the mango, said to be medicinal.

Speaking exclusively to Bole based Nkilgi FM, the Bole District Chief Farmer who is the owner of Allahkabo Farms in Bole and who is the 2019 2nd Best Farmer in the Savannah Region seedlings of the “Pama” mango were imported from Brazil in South America some years back when he attended a farming workshop with his counterparts from other countries.

The Bole District District Chief Farmer also disclosed that he brought 3 seedlings of the “Pama” Mango to Ghana after the workshop in Brazil but unfortunately, 2 seedlings died and 1 managed to grow after he carefully nurtured it.

He told Nkilgi Fm the “Pama” Mango can cure several sicknesses such as blood pressure, stomach related diseases and women menstruation disorder amongst others.

Madam Nimatu Alhassan who travelled from Wa in the Upper West Region of Ghana confirmed that the “Pama” Mango has become a blessing to many people in Wa and Banda Nkwanta as she eventually became a supplier of the fruit.

Madam Nimatu highlighted the medicinal importance of the mango variety and urged everyone to get one at a good price from Alhaji Allahkabo.
