The Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale North Constituency, Alhaji Alhassan Suhuyini has said persons who supported and voted for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) have themselves to blame if their relations fail to get admissions into nurses or teacher training colleges.
“If your child or niece is unable to gain admission into any of the nurses or teacher training colleges today despite her/his qualification, Please blame yourself If you supported and voted for the NPP”.
“You should also blame yourself if you finally graduate and have no hospital or clinic or classroom to be posted to, if you supported and voted for the NPP because your allowance in training school was more important to you than your future working life in modern hospitals, clinics and classrooms such as the ones JM and the NDC built across the country.”
According to him, greed and desire for immediate comfort accounted for the reason some voted or supported to sacrifice their future.

If your child or niece is unable to gain admission into any of the nurses or teacher training colleges today despite her/his qualification, Please blame yourself If you supported and voted for the NPP.
If you are qualified but unable to gain admission into either a nursing college or teacher college of education this year, please can you blame it on your decision to vote or support the NPP if you did?. Or kindly blame it on your relative or friend in these colleges who for his/her greed and desire for her immediate comfort voted or supported to sacrifice your future.
Even If in 2020 (4yrs time) you become any tertiary graduate without the guarantee of a job, please blame it on anyone you know voted/supported the NPP to prevent you from securing admission into an institution that would have reasonably guaranteed you a salary by such a time.
If you are in any nursing or teacher training college and any of your relatives or friends can’t get admission this year to join you despite his or her qualification, blame yourself for his/her loss if you supported and voted for the NPP to restore your allowance.
You should also blame yourself if you finally graduate and have no hospital or clinic or classroom to be posted to, if you supported and voted for the NPP because your allowance in training school was more important to you than your future working life in modern hospitals, clinics and classrooms such as the ones JM and the NDC built across the country.
If in 15years the health and educational facilities are respectively choked with patients and pupils, overburdening nurses and teachers and the statistics show an unacceptable nurses to patient or teacher to pupil ratio, will you be fair enough to blame your support and vote for the NPP in the last election which is enabling them cut down on the nation’s capacity to train these professionals today? I wish you well with the words of old; “only a fool cuts the branch he sits on. Country broke or not, we all dey inside.”
