Black Starlets pre-World Cup training tour moved to Abu Dhabi

Ghana’s U17 team have changed their pre-World Cup camping to Abu Dhabi (UAE) following an agreement between the management team of Starlet and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The Black Starlets were supposed to have their training tour in Denmark, where they would engage in series of friendly matches.

The team was supposed to camp in Denmark for three week before the tournament in India.

Ghana have been drawn in Group A of the FIFA U17 World Cup together with the host India, USA and Colombia.

The team will leave for the UAE next week where they will continue their preparation for the World Cup.

Black Starlets, two-time champions of the world at U-17 level, will be making their first appearance in a decade and are determined to make a huge statement. The 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup kicks off on October 6-26.
