PREACHER : THE REV. DR. FELIX BUSBY OTHER MINISTERS: The Rev. Daniel
Ramm, Stated Clerk of the RCA Classis of Brooklyn, the Rev. Cornell
Edmonds, the Stated Clerk of the Presbytery of New York City.
CLOTH OF THE DAY: "WALKING WITH CHRIST IN MISSION"
The Bethel celebration on this day when every Christian Church had Holy
Communion reminded us of our ecumenical roots and commitments. From our
roots in the Presbyterian Church of Ghana we identify the motto " that all
may be one" from. John 17:21. From our letterhead you can see that we are a
catalyst for two major Denominations in America that are committed to
Reformed theology and Presbyterian democratic polity to bring the Christian
witness to new immigrants.
At Bethel Presbyterian Reformed Church we hold high and cherish our Ghanaian
roots but we are a house of prayer for all nations/peoples. We welcome all
to worship with us in English. In this international language many of our
children feel encouraged by the fact that they are Americans also. When we
invited them around the table of the Lord, we assured them of the love of
God and prayed that they will be mightily blessed in God's covenant of love
so that in America they may prosper.
