Bagbin’s humility is unmatched – Chief Imam

The Chief Imam of Sefwi Juaboso, Alhaji Iddrisu Mohammed, has extolled the virtues of the Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, describing him as an affable man whose humility is unmatched.

According to the Chief Imam, he is not surprised that Hon. Bagbin has rose through the ranks to become the Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament and the sixth most powerful person in the country.

“No Ghanaian leader has ever visited Juaboso and thought of even passing by to hello to us. When I heard of your coming through your advance team, in fact, I became so happy that I didn’t know what to do next than to pray to God to lead your path. My dream of meeting you has come to pass. You have clearly demonstrated the love that you have for humanity. I am therefore not surprised that your humility has taken you far because … it is unmatched”, noted Alhaji Iddrisu Mohammed.

The Juaboso Chief Imam made this observation, Saturday, September 22, 2018, when he welcomed Hon. Bagbin who is aspiring to be the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to his residence.

The Nadowli/Kaleo lawmaker had paid homage to the Juaboso Chief Imam to brief him about his visit and to also ask him to pray for him as he seeks to lead umbrella family into election 2020.

The Chief Imam who was enthused about the vision of the longest serving Member of Parliament prayed to Allah to continue opening new doors for Hon. Bagbin to enter to enable him do all the good things that he has for the country.

He used the opportunity to brief him about the bad nature of their roads and appealed to him not to forget the people of Juaboso if he ascends to the highest office of the land.
