Baba gets assist credit for Hazard's goal against Liverpool

Ghana defender Baba Rahman was awarded the assist after Eden Hazard went through four defenders to plant home a goal against Liverpool in midweek.

The Ghana international deservedly earned the assist for the first goal which kept Chelsea in the driving seat in the game.

Belgium international Christian Benteke eventually got an equaliser with virtually the last kick of the match after a howler from Asmir Begovic in post for Chelsea.

Rahman has steadily improved his defensive play since arriving in England this season and will be delighted with his contribution to Hazard’s goal on the day.

The former Augsburg man has now played in 21 games in all competitions for the former English champions and has two assists, first providing for Oscar in the Champions League and now for Eden Hazard.
