BECE candidates advised to desist from examination malpractice

Reverend Thomas Henry Quamson has advised candidates of the upcoming Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) to desist from any form of examination malpractices as they sit for the examinations in the course of the week.

He gave the advise when final year Junior High Students from the Holy Ghost AG Academy, Ashiaman Jericho, Vision College, Sakumono and other candidates joined in their worship service at the Assemblies of God Holy Ghost Worship Centre on Sunday.

He said engaging in the malpractice of any kind such as taking foreign materials into the examination hall, copying from other candidates, patronizing leaked questions, exchanging of papers, writing of answers in one's palm amongst other shameful practices could lead to the cancellation of their results and in worse situations arrest and prosecuted by law.

He further advised them to be courageous, confident and put away all forms of anxiety and fears during the period.

The Reverend Minister asked them to take their revision seriously; solve more past questions and also trust in the Lord for victory.

"Make sure you go to the examination hall with all the items and tools you need, don't go with the intention to borrow from others," he cautioned them. He prayed, anointed and asked for the Lord’s guidance, protection and a photographic memory and assured them of victory.

This year’s BECE will begin from Monday, June 10 to Friday, June 14 at all centres across the nation.
