BECE 2019: Ablakwa provides free transport for 1,920 candidates

Member of Parliament for North Tongu constituency Mr Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has offered to pay for the final super mock for all 1,920 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in Mepe in the Volta Region as they prepare for this year’s BECE.

In addition, Mr Ablakwa is providing free transportation and free Mathematical sets for the candidates.

The lawmaker also donated graph boards for all 50 Junior High Schools and made a special presentation of laptop computers to the nine top performing schools over the last three BECEs who secured an average of 80 to 98 per cent in an effort to motivate other schools to follow suit.

This year’s BECE begins on Monday, 10 June 2019.
