Bolgatanga, March 27, GNA - Mr Cletus Avoka, Majority Leader of Parliament and Member of Parliament for the Zebilla Constituency, on Saturday evening sustained injuries in a car accident on his way from Navrongo to Zebilla in the Upper East Region.
Mr Avoka was detained at the Bolgatanga Hospital for the night as the doctor suspected he had suffered some internal injuries as well. He was discharged on Sunday morning after the doctor had attended to him and seen the X-ray films taken to ascertain the state of some of his internal organs.
