Atukpai Mantse holds durbar

The Atukpai Mantse, Nii Tetteh Tsuru II and his queenmother held a durbar to receive homage from the divisional chiefs of the area to prepare the grounds for the celebration of this year’s Homowo Festival.

The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Sheikh I.C.Quaye, the Accra Metropolitan Chief Executive Mr Solomon Offei Darko and some members of Parliament attended the ceremony. The minister called on chiefs to ensure that there is total unity in their areas to ensure development and progress. Other donations were made towards proper organisation of the festival.
