Atlantic Meridian EV (AMEV), Ghana’s first end-to-end electric mobility company, has appointed Giovani Caleb as its official brand ambassador in a strategic move aimed at turning the country’s growing curiosity about electric vehicles (EVs) into widespread adoption.

One of Ghana’s most trusted and widely followed media personalities, Giovani Caleb will now lead AMEV’s mission of making clean, affordable electric mobility a practical everyday reality for households, businesses, and commercial fleets.

What sets AMEV apart is its EV 360 ecosystem — Ghana’s only fully integrated electric mobility platform that manages the entire EV experience end-to-end, ensuring customers are never left stranded.

The company operates through three integrated business lines:

A curated EV sales portfolio tailored to Ghanaian roads and budgets, with direct purchase and bank financing options;

A growing network of charging stations powered by the AMEV Cloud app, available on Google Play and the App Store, which allows drivers to locate chargers, monitor charging sessions, and make payments directly from their phones;

A certified after-sales and maintenance division providing servicing, warranty support, and genuine replacement parts.

Together, the ecosystem is designed to make the transition to electric mobility simple, reliable, and stress-free.

Why Giovani Caleb?

According to AMEV, the challenge facing EV adoption in Ghana is not the product itself, but consumer trust.

Giovani Caleb’s broad appeal, credibility, and connection with audiences across different generations position him as a strong advocate for electric mobility, from young professionals to mainstream family consumers.

As the face of AMEV, he is expected to help demystify EV technology, make electric mobility more aspirational, and build the confidence needed to drive mass adoption.

“Giovani reaches the exact audiences we need, and he does it with electrifying authenticity. This is not just about celebrity influence, but about credibility. He helps us demystify the technology, showcase our full ecosystem — from showroom to charger to workshop — and prove that going electric is easier and smarter than people assume,” said Amese Franklin, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer of AMEV.

“Ghana does not have to wait for the future of driving. It is already here, and it is electric. AMEV has not just put cars on the road; they have built the chargers, the app, and the service support behind every customer. I am not simply lending my name to a brand — I am backing a movement, because cleaner, smarter, and more affordable mobility is something every Ghanaian deserves,” Giovani Caleb stated.
