Assemblies of God present rest stop to GPRTU

Jukwa (C/R), Dec. 21, GNA - A five million-cedi passenger rest stop has been commissioned at Jukwa by Nana Afrifa Yamoa Ponko 11, Domakwahene of the Denkyira Traditional Area, in the Central Region. The rest stop was constructed by members of the Assemblies of God Church through communal labour and handed over to the Jukwa branch of GPRTU to mark the 10th anniversary of the Church, on Saturday. Nana Ponko commended the church for providing the structure and expressed the hope that the GPRTU would maintain it to ensure its life span.

Rev. John M. Quartson, pastor in-charge of the Church, said the provision of the structure was in line with the policy of the Church God to support development in communities that it operated. 21 Dec 03
