Assemblies' inaugurate on Monday

Accra, Oct. 29, GNA - The Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Environment on Sunday announced that 136 metropolitan, municipal and district assemblies would be inaugurated simultaneously throughout the country on Monday 30 October to resume a four-year mandate.

A statement signed by Mr Stephen Asamoah Boateng, sector Minister urged the public to support the inauguration of the assemblies in their various communities and urged all elected and appointees to take note and be seated at designated times for the ceremony.
