Executive Chairman of Asante Kotoko, Dr. Kwame Kyei and his management have refused to meet supporters union over a FIFA fine.

The Porcupine Warriors have been ordered to pay an amount of $240,000 to Espérance de Tunis for illegally signing their player Emmanuel Clottey in 2015.

Asante Kotoko will face demotion from the Ghana Premier League if they are unable to pay fine within the stipulated time given by FIFA.

Supporters Council say they are ready to collaborate in the settlement of the FIFA fine but efforts to reach out Dr. Kyei has been unsuccessful because he has refused to answer their calls since Monday.

The supporters leadership also claim to have made other attempts to engage Dr. Kyei personally but all have proved futile.

There have been calls for supporters of the club to initiate steps to help the management raise the required amount.

"We have being trying to get in touch with Dr Kwame Kyei but to no avail so have written to management on issues," the Supporters Council PRO told Oyerepa FM.

"He is not picking our calls and we have tried his office and house but to no avail,"

"We want to help management pay for the $240,000 so we want to meet him discuss how we can contribute."

"We are just looking for his approval."
