Somerset, NJ

The name; Asanka Local is a very popular restaurant in Ghana and it is
heavily patronize because of its sumptuous meals. Located at the heart of
Osu, Accra, there is a live band on certain occasions to entertain the
guests.

One of its famous guests is Anthony Bourdain of "No Reservations" on Travel
Channel. A segment of the documentary was shot in Asanka Local on one
Sunday afternoon in May 2006 while the live band was playing. Anthony
Bourdain was bashful about the food and beer he enjoyed at Asanka local
restaurant.

This feature is not about Asanka Local but it has a connection with a local
restaurant in Somerset, NJ called; Asanka Delight.

Asanka Delight is a favorite place for locals and has been in existence for
2 years. As a piece of an American dream, it was started in March 31st,
2007 and the owners are Mr. Jude Armah and his lovely wife Wendy, a
Registered Nurse.

Mr. Jude Armah's nephew is the proud owner of Asanka Local and hence the
connection.

3G was invited to Asanka Delight which has moved to a new and bigger
location on 920 Hamilton Avenue (in a mall and facing Franklin Blvd,
Somerset, NJ. Asanka Delight is very clean and a beautiful place to feel at
home.

What is interesting about Asanka Delight is its diverse customers and its
international dishes served including Ghanaian. It is a place to not only
to eat but drink and dance. Mr. Armah says customers are allowed to "Bring
Your Own Bottle" (BYOB which many customers know).

Mrs. Wendy Armah says it is about the joy in doing what one loves and has
passion for. She opened the restaurant to fulfill her passion for large
scale cooking and service with a smile. Because of her warmth and
affability she retain her customers and build long standing relationship
with them.

During the visit, there was an African American customer who had come to eat
with her two children. She ordered fufu and jolof rice. When asked what
she thought about the food, she said, she regularly eats at the restaurant
and the food is always great. She loved eating fufu because her children's
father is from Sierra Leone. She loves the hospitality exhibited by the
couple and the rest of the staff.

3G also observed Ms Wendy always smiling and chatting to customers. Mr.
Armah is down to earth and is always making sure a customer has a drink
whiles eating.

Asanka Delight welcome corporate and private events.

Opening times are as follows; Mondays (Closed); Tuesday-Thursday (11am -
9pm); , Fridays and Saturday night (11am - 10pm) Sunday afternoons, 1pm -
