The demonstration dubbed “Ya Abre”, is to protest the incessant energy crisis and its adverse effect on all sectors of the economy, the high cost of fuel in spite of the drastic reduction in prices at the world market as well as increasing unemployment and high cost of living in the country, an official satatment, has said.

In a statement jointly signed by Dr Anthony Nsiah Asare, Executive Chairman, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, Director of Operations, Kwabena Senkyire, Director of Strategy and Henry Nana Boakye, Communications Director, and issued in Kumasi, the MFC said the demonstration was part of the continuous efforts to mount pressure and protest against bad governance in the country.

It said the demonstration, which would be similar to the ‘Ya Ye Den Demonstration’, organized by the group last year, would offer opportunity to all suffering Ghanaians to come out and show their frustration with the alleged mismanagement, corruption, and incompetence in the administration of the resources of the country.
