Anlo Diasporians Respond to Nyonyo's

( Appeal For Peace)

We the concerned citizens of Anlo in the diasporas find it very audacious and unacceptable for Francis Nyonyo Agboada (aka Seth Lumorvi Atsitsogbui aka Francis Osei Agboada) to lay down preconditions for cessation of his crimes against Anlo. Simply put, that will be “adding insult to injury”.

Furthermore, acceptance of any preconditions laid down by Nyonyo would have condemned subsequent efforts at resolution of the Awoamezi dispute to failure.

NYONYO IS A TRAITOR

Let us be mindful of the scope of the atrocities Nyonyo committed against Anlo land just for his personal aggrandizement. HE DECLARED WAR ON ANLOS AND THEIR SACRED INSTITUTIONS. For five years beginning 2003, Nyonyo and his allies waged a punishing and crippling war of attrition against Anloland. His allies in this unholy alliance are “HIGH GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT, GOVERNMENT MINISTERS, LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS, A CORRUPT AND PATHETIC JUDICIARY, MISGUIDED OLD AND SENILE CHIEFS AND A BAND OF THUGS AND SYCOPHANTS”.

“A CITIZEN WHO WAGES WAR ON HIS OWN COUNTRY WITH THE HELP OF OUTSIDE FORCES IS CALLED A TRAITOR”. Such unsavory characters in bygone days were sent off for “THEIR REWARD” via the FIFTH LANDING STAGE (TORKOR ATOLIA).

Nyonyo’s transgressions are numerous, treacherous often leading one to question his humanity.

1. Nyonyo committed treason against the people of Anlo.

2. Nyonyo committed sacrilege.

3. Nyonyo desecrated the sanctity of the Awoamezi, the title of the Awoamefia and the revered name “SRI”, the patriarch of the Adzovia Clan.

4. Nyonyo has for four years embarrassed the State of Anlo and Anlos repeatedly by his proclamation.

5. Nyonyo has repeatedly terrorized Anlos with the help of the Police and the Military.

6. Nyonyo’s state supported thugs repeatedly assaulted innocent citizens of Anloland.

7. With the help of law enforcement agencies, and against all tradition and reason, Nyonyo staged mock HOGBETSOTSO CELEBRATIONS in 2005 and 2006. High Government officials attended and intoned, “HAIL THE KING”.

8. Nyonyo is responsible for the wanton destruction of property in Anloga.

9. Nyonyo is responsible for the vandalizing of the AWADADA’S (FIELDMARSHALL OF ANLO) PALACE. This Palace is a historical landmark.

10. Nyonyo totally corrupted the institution of Chieftaincy in Anloland with money against the Anlo tradition.

11. Nyonyo is ultimately responsible for the senseless murder of seven young citizens in the prime of their lives on November 1st 2007.

12. Nyonyo corrupted officers of the PEACE in Anloland.

LET PENNACE PRECEED ABSOLUTION

It is up to Nyonyo’s friends and “CITIZENS WHO HAVE NYONYO’S EARS” to advice him to consult “A COMMITTEE OF ELDERS OF ANLO”.

His transgressions will be read out to him. Traditionally recognized restitution will be demanded of him. For a start Nyonyo should publish a public apology to the Anlos for his numerous crimes in the three Ghanaian papers of record for three consecutive days.

A public acknowledgement of the wrong headedness of his quixotic and tenacious claims to the Awoamezi must follow immediately.

By accepting these two steps Nyonyo would have started penance. He should swear in PERPERTUITY to desist from interference in Chieftaincy affairs in Anloland.

As a sign of his good faith and readiness to coexist with peace loving citizens Nyonyo should:

1. Immediately withdraw lawsuits he brought against the AWADADA of ANLO restraining him from performing his duties as the Acting President of the Anlo Traditional Council.

2. He should forthwith dissolve his “FAKE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL”.

3. He should drop any other lawsuits he has filed against Chiefs of Anlo, individuals opposed to him and the Anlo Traditional Council.

Finally, Nyonyo’s absolution in Anloland should also depend on his willingness to cooperate with the Elders in the performance of purification rituals as necessary restitution for his sacrilege and desecration of shrines and institutions of Anloland.
