Anlo Constituency NDC Youth Wing congratulates George Opare Addo on nomination

The Youth Wing of the Anlo Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has extended heartfelt congratulations to George Opare Addo on his recent nomination as the Minister-designate for the newly created Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment.

A statement signed by Precious Kusorgbor, the Constituency Youth Organizer of the party and made available to the Ghana News Agency, lauded Opare Addo for his unwavering dedication, dynamic leadership, and commitment to the empowerment of young people nationwide.

“Your appointment is a testament to your hard work and visionary service, which have now been recognized at the highest level. We assure you of our unwavering support and partnership in advancing your agenda for the empowerment of the next generation,” the statement read.

The congratulatory message concluded with a call for his tenure to be marked by great success and monumental progress for the country’s youth.

In an interview with Madam Klenam Antoinette Adedze, the Constituency Deputy Youth Organizer, she cited Opare’s organizational and youth mobilization skills, which were key to the party’s success in the December polls. She believes these skills will be replicated in his national responsibility as a state minister if duly confirmed.

“We are confident that your passion, experience, organizational skills, and innovative ideas will drive impactful policies and transformative programs that will shape a brighter future for the youth of our country,” she said.

George Opare Addo, popularly known as “Pablo,” is the national youth organizer of the NDC party. His recent nomination by President John Dramani Mahama received widespread commendation, reflecting his reputation as a passionate advocate for youth empowerment and development.

He was announced alongside other nominations on Thursday morning and is expected to appear before Parliament’s appointment committee for vetting in the coming days.
