Andre Ayew reiterates the need for replication

Ghanaian international, Andre Ayew, has challenged his teammates to replicate their impressive form at home on their travels as they look to survive in this year’s Premier League.

The Swans recorded their r seventh consecutive home game win having defeated West Ham 4-1 as they face Huddersfield in another crucial fixture this weekend.

Ayew who was very instrumental in last Saturday’s clash having been involved in three of the goals is hoping things will change on the road as they have just recorded only two wins from 14 attempts.

“It was a big victory and an important game for us,” the Deputy Captain of the Black Stars told the club’s website.

“We lost in a bad way at Brighton and needed to bounce back. We needed to make up for it in front of our home fans.

“We showed character, courage and played good football.

“It was important we showed good energy and prove we have momentum at home. We now need to do the same away from home.”

He added: “We need to keep working hard because the league is still open and very tight.

“It is very tight and it is going to be like that for a long time. We just need to keep focused. We don’t give up and keep fighting and try and make it to the top and keep staying high.”
