The National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams, wants all contracts entered by the Akufo-Addo led administration to be investigated after watching the rot exposed in the latest investigative piece by celebrated journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas on Ghana Football.

He’s terrified by some damning revelations made by the president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi, who in the video, mentioned names of some government appointees including the President of the Republic and his vice, in attempt to extort monies from supposed investors.

According to him, it’s possible for president Akufo-Addo to be in bed with Kwesi Nyantakyi, as it appears the two are close friends and also seem to know a lot about the presidency.

He has therefore called for appropriate state institutions to conduct a full scale investigation into every contract that may have been signed by the government as he smells foul in the award of contracts.

“Let us investigate all the contracts the NPP administration led by president Akufo-Addo has signed from 7th January as he assume the presidency in this country” he said.

He further went on to mention some contracts in his opinion were fraudulent that must be looked into.

“The NIA contract which was going to cost 150 million dollars under the NDC, has now changed from 293 to 1.22 billion dollars must be investigated, the Kelni GVG case too has revealed that, everything government is corrupt when it comes to awarding contracts” he said.

Kofi Adams believes the damaging comments by Kwesi Nyantayi has questioned and tarnished the reputation and image of the presidency.
