Barely nine hours of becoming a former vice president, Paa Kwesi Armissah-Arthur has been paying glowing tribute to his boss, President John Mahama who exited office midnight Friday.

Few hours to the inauguration of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on January 7 as Ghana’s next president, Mr Amissah-Arthur took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter, to express how Mahama was committed to transforming the country.

He tweeted: “President John Mahama was deeply committed to the transformation of Ghana,” and stated the now ex-President Mahama added what he termed “a touch of pure class” to the presidency.

In a similar post on Facebook, Mr Amissah-Arthur expressed gratitude to President Mahama and the National Democratic Congress government for the opportunity to serve Ghana.
