Amaniampong Koroye Kuo Raises Funds To Support The Poor

The Cornerstone Banquet, 8025 S. Cass Ave, Darien, IL hosted a heavily
attended fundraising dinner dance in aid of Orphanage schools in the Mampong
District in Ghana. The fundraiser was organized by one of the oldest Ghanaian
immigrant social organizations here in Chicago, the Amaniampong Koroye Kuo,
formed in 1975.

The main purposes of the organization are to help each other and also
support the community that they left behind in Ghana, especially the Mampong local
district. The organization has done many charitable contributions in the
Mampong District over the years. These contributions include medical supplies
and equipment to the Mampong District Hospital. Recently, the Amaniampong
Koroye Kuo joined hands with other charitable organizations from London,
Atlanta, Los Angeles Toronto, New Jersey, Baltimore, Germany, Washington DC Metro,
North Carolina and Amsterdam to build the Children’s Ward at the Mampong
District Hospital.

The organization is looking for charitable donations from citizens of
Mampong in the diaspora,and from individuals and businesses to enable it buy
needed equipment and supplies to the Mampong District Hospital and also help
orphanages in the District. All donations can be sent to the Amaniampong Koroye
