The National Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Osman Masawudu has recounted how the National Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, prevented him from destroying a TV3 microphone during a visit to the NDC headquarters.
According to Alhaji Masawudu, who had previously been captured on television pushing away a TV3 microphone during a press conference, he had intended to repeat the same action but was stopped by Asiedu Nketiah.
Speaking in an interview on Original TV, which has since circulated on social media, Alhaji Masawudu said he would "never forgive TV3" over what he described as the station's bias against the NPP.
He explained that after Asiedu Nketiah stopped him from pushing away the microphone, he refused to speak into it until he was persuaded.
"When I went to the NDC headquarters to speak to them, there was a TV3 microphone, and I wanted to push it away. But Asiedu Nketiah said, Alhaji, this is the NDC headquarters, so you can't do that here.

"So, I told them I wouldn't speak into the microphone, and they had to beg me. For TV3, I will never forgive them their sins," he said.
