Alan’s exit from WTO job-hunt: Nana Addo faction panics

This has been the view of the John Kufuor-faction, within the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), when members of the Nana Akufo-Addo-bloc were seen lobbying for Mr. John Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen in a strenuous effort to help him win the race for the head of the World Trade Organization (WTO).

A leading member of the Kufuor’s Asante group has told The Informer “he was very surprised when he heard that persons like Nana Addo himself and other members of his Akyem cabal, were lobbying other senior African diplomats to help Alan win the top post of the WTO”.

He added; “We then later found out from their (Akufo Addo faction) own research that, many NPP supporters did not want to give Nana Addo the opportunity to represent the party at the age of 72, and that, the most likely person was Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen.

So, Akufo-Addo and his Akyem mafia had wanted Alan to win the WTO slot, so that he (Alan) could not come down to contest the NPP 2016 flagbearership slot”.

Meanwhile, The Informer interface with the Akufo-Addo side indicates that, once the news floated out last week that Alan Cash has been eliminated in the first round of voting in the WTO race, the Addo-group felt despondent.

One of them told The Informer that; “Nana Addo banged the table with fist, exclaiming ‘this guy is going to worry him again.’
