Alan campaigns in the Volta Region

Hohoe, July 5, GNA - Mr Alan Kyerematen, campaigning to be the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has said he represented a symbol of unity, hope and prosperity for the youth in the party and across the political divide.

Mr Kyerematen said this when he addressed polling station executives in the Hohoe-North Constituency at the end of his campaign tour of the Volta Region. He said he was the only candidate with a national appeal to attract even members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and floating voters.

Mr Kyerematen said sacrifice was central to leadership and global trends of electing young, energetic, dynamic, charismatic, dedicated and God-fearing leader was rife. He said he would open bank accounts for all polling station executives. "I will create a business venture for all PSEs to generate income as their reward for their toils," he said.

Mr Kwabena Adjei Agyepong, a member of the campaign team, said most landmark achievements in the Kufuor-led government were masterminded by Mr Kyerematen, a lawyer, an economist and international business executive. He said the party would return from Congress more solid and united.
