Alajo Bridge to close to traffic on Monday

Accra, Sept. 26, GNA - The Alajo Bridge on the main Accra-Nsawam road would be closed to traffic on Monday, September 29 until further notice to enable reconstruction works to take place.

Traffic would be diverted to a newly constructed Bailey bridge within the vicinity.

A statement signed by Mr G .P. Ansah, Acting Chief Director of the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, on Friday asked all motorists and the general public to take note of the diversion signs mounted at the site.

"Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted," the statement said.
