A disturbing incident has rocked the town of Akyem Kyebi, capital of Abuakwa South Municipality, as a young man, Isaac Frempong aka Kwadwo Moosi, has been found dead, with a deep cut to his back.

Moosi, a 22-year-old and allegedly mentally unstable, had gone missing a few days ago.

His family members had been searching for him but he was nowhere to be found.

The victim's mother, Vida Nyamekye recounted the traumatic experience to the media, expressing her shock and grief.

Moosi was rushed to the hospital by the Ghana National Ambulance Service for treatment.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are unclear, and it's unknown if any suspects have been identified.

The community is reeling from the news, and an investigation by the Ghana Police Service is likely underway.
